Claire Wiley
Claire Wiley graduated with a VMD from the University of Pennsylvania, where she also completed a small animal rotating internship. She s a Clinician Investigator at NCSU and completed her small animal internal medicine residency in 2017. She is currently a PhD student in Comparative Biomedical Sciences. In the lab, Claire investigates the molecular profiling of canine urothelial carcinoma (UC)/transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) and also provides expertise in our clinical trials effort. Claire has a particular interest in translating data derived from studies of her canine patients to provide new opportunities to advance care of human patients.
Claire is fluent in Mandarin and enjoys painting, music, and hiking with her two Portuguese water dogs, Jade and Flirt.
